Alicia Piechowiak is a practitioner and researcher in the field of Education and Human Resource Development. Her research expertise focuses on organizational onboarding in general and has expertise in onboarding immigrants, in small to medium enterprises, in less popular immigrant destinations and in the manufacturing sector. She is co-chair of the Leadership Special Interest Group at the Academy of Human Resource Development and Project Director at a consulting management company where she implemented an onboarding program that has contributed to more than tripling the team and opening offices in Vietnam and Morocco.

Saul Carliner is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Education at Concordia University in Montreal. Among his 250 publications are the recently published Career Anxiety: Guidance Through Tough Times (with Margaret Driscoll and Yvonne Thayer) and An Overview of Training and Development (with Margaret Driscoll). He is the Immediate Past President of the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education, a Fellow and past board member of the Institute for Performance and Learning, and a Fellow and past International President of the Society for Technical Communication
